Who we are:
We organise private invitation-only Silent Disco events. Our website is hosted on Wix and is not indexed by public search engines. We are committed to protecting your personal information and handling it in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
What information we collect:
When you complete our application form, we collect:
- Your full name
- Email address
- Telephone number
- Christian congregation information
- Any other information you voluntarily provide as part of your application
How we use your information
We use your information to:
- Process and assess your application to attend the event
- Contact you regarding current and future Silent Disco events
- Verify eligibility for attendance where appropriate
- Maintain the safety and Christian standards expected at our private events
- Provide data to assist in any investigation of wrongdoing
Verification of standing:
By submitting the application form, you consent to us contacting elders from your congregation, where appropriate, to confirm that you are in good or exemplary standing for the purposes of attendance at our private event.
Conduct-related information:
If an incident occurs in connection or outside our events that we reasonably believe is inconsistent with the Christian standards expected of attendees, information relating to that incident may be shared with elders from your local congregation where appropriate and necessary.
How your information is stored:
Your information is stored on a secure email service protected by two-factor authentication (2FA). Access is restricted to the event organisers who need the information for the purposes described in this notice.
How long we keep your information:
We keep your information only for as long as reasonably necessary for:
- Managing current event applications
- Communicating about future events
- Maintaining appropriate records relating to attendance and event administration
You may request that we delete your information at any time, subject to any legal or legitimate reasons we may have for retaining it.
Photography & Promotional Use:
By attending this event, you acknowledge that photographs and/or video recordings may be taken and used for promotional purposes, including on our website, social media, advertising and future event promotions.
Where required by law, we will obtain your consent before using identifiable images of you for promotional purposes. You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting the event organisers.
We will handle any personal data in accordance with applicable UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018 requirements. We will not sell your photographs or personal information to third parties.
If you do not wish to appear in promotional photographs or videos, please inform the organisers before or during the event and we will take reasonable steps to accommodate your request.
Sharing your information:
We do not sell or share your personal information for marketing purposes.
Your information may be shared only:
- With congregation elders for the purposes described above
- With service providers involved in operating our website or communications (such as Wix or our email provider), where necessary for those services

- Object to certain types of processing
